MineCraft
As originally announced in this thread, an official MineCraft server has been set up for all members of Clan Quest! All members from all Guilds are welcome, and we intend to set it up to appeal to anyone's interests! Currently you can play the game in either survival or creative modes, with completely different ingame worlds for each, both in the base "Vanilla" (meaning no mods), with a selection of maintenance-focused "plugins" that allow for some amount of convenience while playing!

This is a server that can and will evolve with its players, and will continually be updated to make it better and more accessible! There are currently plans to incorporate a hardcore world, as well as a real-time world map that players can use to visualize any of the server's worlds! And, if there is enough long-term interest in MineCraft, we may even expand the server to include a modded world - one that won't require people more interested in the vanilla game to do any extra work! All of this in due time, for now the server is up, running, and ready to be played on! You can find more information on our forums or on the official Clan Quest Discord.

Dungeons & Dragons
Under the leadership of Dungeon Master Draziw, Clan Quest has been running a (mostly) weekly game of Dungeons & Dragons for several months now! While the game has always been open to new participants, the currently ongoing story has reached a point where new players could easily be brought onboard! The "Main Story" has been completed, in that the events that were designed to establish the world have occurred, and from here on out the direction the story takes will largely be determined by where the players decide to go. A "West Marches" campaign, for people familiar with D&D terminology. Whether you're a veteran or if you've never played before, you're welcome to reach out to Draziw on either Discord or the forums if you're interested!

Clan Quest Fest
November 9th, 2019, is rapidly approaching. Why is that important? Because on November 9th, 2009, Clan Quest was officially founded, and that means the Clan is about to turn 10 years old! It's almost hard to believe that Clan Quest has been around so long, it doesn't feel like it's been even half that long since I joined, even though it's been longer! In celebration of this momentous occasion, Draziw has been organizing an event known as "Clan Quest Fest" - a party to celebrate the Clan's birthday in person. You can find more specific information on this forum thread, but the plan is to have members of Clan Quest from all over the world fly into Ohio for the weekend to celebrate together. All three of the Clan's founders and several other members have already committed to attending, so it's going to be a blast for sure!

GENERAL

What are you currently studying?
I'm currently working towards a Computer Science degree at university, but recently I decided to challenge myself by adding a mathematics major, since I also love math.

What do you do for a living?
Unfortunately I don't really feel emotionally ready to have a job. I'm on the autism spectrum, so holding a job is an especially challenging thing for me. (The fact that I'm on the autism spectrum might also explain some of my other answers...)

What's your favourite sport?
I am the opposite of a sports person. Assuming I can't answer with e-sports or some other unconventional answer, I would have to answer badminton -- I've played it a couple times before in high school gym class, and I like how it only requires one other person to play, and that it's less intensive than tennis while still requiring skill.

September 2019 003.jpg

Which are your favourite childhood cartoons?
I watched a lot of SpongeBob SquarePants and The Fairly OddParents when I was younger.

If you could have any super power other than invincibility, what would you choose and why?
I would choose the ability to stop time. That would be very helpful for those moments where I get anxious and need lots of time to calm down.

September 2019 004.jpg

What are your favourite outdoor activities?
I'm not an outdoors person either, to be honest... I'm personally always up for a barbeque or picnic, but it's mostly the food and not the atmosphere that appeals to me. :P

Which is your favourite movie?
This is a bit embarrassing to admit, but I don't really enjoy movies -- I find them to be overly long and difficult to follow. If I had to pick one, I would say Apollo 13. I watched the film once in school and later bought it on iTunes, so I must have enjoyed it at the time. [Editor’s note: *le gasp*]

What sort of music and artists do you listen to?
Mostly video game soundtracks and doujin music, although I enjoy listening to other music as well. It's hard to name specific artists; I kind of just like to browse whatever there is to offer on Spotify/Youtube/etc.

Which books would you recommend?
Unfortunately I don't seem to have the attention span to read books these days. My mind always wanders off when trying to read long passages of text. Nonetheless, I can recommend Ian Stewart's popular books on mathematics, especially Visions of Infinity.

September 2019 005.jpg

What's your favourite type of food?
This is a tough question, since I enjoy almost all food I eat to at least some extent. Just to be controversial, though, I'll say pineapple pizza -- the sweet/savory combination is unbeatable, in my opinion. :)

Do you prefer mom's food or restaurant food?
Restaurant food, mostly because there's a lot more variety when eating out. Absolutely no offense to my mom, though; she's a great cook and I would happily eat her food any day.

GAMING

Which are your favourite games?
RuneScape goes without saying, of course. Besides that, I enjoy Mario platformers and the Civilization series. (Actually, I tend to enjoy indie games a lot more than ones from major publishers, but I didn't feel like listing a bunch of games most people haven't heard of.)

What are your favourite video game genres?
I tend to enjoy puzzle games, platformers, strategy games, and shmups. Perhaps surprisingly, I don't really enjoy RPGs or adventure games outside of RuneScape.

Which was the most difficult video game you ever beat?
Stephen's Sausage Roll is a really tough puzzle game that I'm pretty proud of having beaten.

September 2019 006.jpg

What's the toughest thing you've ever accomplished in a video game?
I once spent 15 hours over a single weekend to beat a Panga level in the original Super Mario Maker.

When playing with friends, do you prefer video games or tabletop games, and why do you prefer one over the other?
Wish I had real-life friends. But I think I would prefer tabletop games, since you don't have to deal with the hassle of electronics, and because tabletop games generally appeal to a broader audience.

RUNESCAPE

What's your favourite skill?
Oh, there's so many to choose from... I think I would say Divination is my favorite skill. It was my first skill to level 90, and I like how you can choose whether to focus on XP or resources at any wisp colony, the mini-D&Ds built into the skill (chronicle fragments and enriched wisps), and that it's generally the best moneymaker of all the gathering skills. Additionally, Memorial to Guthix and the Hall of Memories are great additions to the skill which provide lots of juicy lore on Guthix. (On the other hand, Guthixian Caches were a bad addition and they need to be nerfed, but I still enjoy traditional Divination training in spite of that.)

September 2019 007.jpg

What's your favourite quest?
Ritual of the Mahjarrat is easily my favorite quest! I love the number of places that you visit while doing the quest, the epic scale of the final battle, and that it's the conclusion of most of the major plot lines during the Fifth Age. Plus, I found it to be much more polished than its immediate predecessor, While Guthix Sleeps. And "Return of Lucien" is probably my favorite piece of music in the game.

September 2019 008.jpg

When did you start playing?
My first account was made shortly after the launch of RSHD in the summer of 2008, but the account "Borosouro" was made in late 2016.

What was your very first accomplishment cape?
The Quest Point Cape, of course -- I wouldn't have it any other way!

You get 30 seconds of full attention from all employees of Jagex. What do you say?
After fanboying about how much I love RuneScape and Jagex, I would tell the mods that it's okay to make smaller updates that aren't game-changing, like Stalker Creatures or Overgrown Idols. Also, small quests are better than no quests.

You get a ticket to visit Gielinor IRL. Where do you go first?
I would visit the Tree Gnome Stronghold. The gnomes are friendly to visitors, and they have great food! Also, the Grand Tree would definitely be a sight to behold.

GENERAL PART 2

What are your biggest dreams in life?
I mostly just hope to eventually find a job that fits my capabilities and to be able to live on my own. But if I had to dream big, then solving a major unsolved problem in mathematics or computer science would be pretty sweet.

If you could have any 3 animals in the world (only real animals, no fictional), which would you pick?
I'm going to be boring here and say that I would just get 3 dogs. Not just because dogs are easier to take care of than wild animals, but because dogs are friendly towards humans and most wild animals aren't.

If you had to give up one of your senses (sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste) which one would you pick?
As much as I would hate not being able to enjoy food anymore, I would give up taste, since that's the sense that would cause the least disability in ordinary life if I lost it.

How would you describe yourself to others?
Oh jeez, this is a tough one. I might just have to settle for "nerdy and introverted", since although those words describe millions of people, anything more detailed than that would be overly revealing or very difficult to describe.
[Editor’s note: Yer not alone ;)]

September 2019 009.jpg

What is your most used item in your daily life?
That would probably be my glasses. I wear them basically all the time except for when I shower or sleep.

Will you go to RuneFest this year?
No, there are too many factors preventing me from going. I live in the U.S., I have school during that time of year, I'm unable to travel on my own, etc.

If I were to visit your country, what do you think I should do first?
The first thing you should do in the United States? The country is far too big for there to be a single answer without knowing where you're visiting and what you're interested in. (I guess a literal-minded answer would be "check into the hotel room and go to sleep.")

What are your favourite cities/locations, both in RS and in real life?
In RuneScape, my favorite city is Menaphos, not just because of its beautiful design, but also (more controversially) because the activities there are enjoyable. I got the Sandy title a bit over a year after its release and I didn't find the reputation/journal grind to be painful at all. As for real life, it's a bit hard to say, since my family doesn't get out of the house very often. However, of the cities that my family has been on vacation to, I enjoyed my vacation to London the most. [Editor’s note: He likes Grindaphos! Quick, get him!]

Do you play an instrument? If not, which instrument/s would you like to learn?
I took piano lessons when I was very young but I didn't end up continuing them for very long. I can still sort-of play piano but it's definitely something I'd need to work on if I wanted to actually play an instrument (and I don't really want to at this point).

Tell us the story behind your name!
It's not really much of a story, since my name was made up from scratch when I created my current RuneScape account. But anyway, my name is derived from "Ouroboros", which is a mythical serpent that eats its own tail. An ouroboros has no beginning or end, so I thought I would play on that by changing the start and end point of the letters in "Ouroboros" (imagine the letters as being arranged in a circle, if you will).

How many languages do you speak? Which one would you like to learn?
If I'm being honest here, I speak one language: English. I've taken a few French classes in school so far, but I'm still not at the point where I would be comfortable having a casual conversation in French. I do hope to learn more French in the future, though.

September 2019 010.jpg

If you had to escape your country immediately, what's the one thing you'd take with you?
Is "my family" too much to take? If it is, then I would take my wallet, since it's important to have money and identification whenever travelling somewhere new. (Yeah, another boring answer, I know.)

Who is the one clannie you really miss?
I know that he plays Old School now, but I do miss seeing Rei in the RS3 clan chat -- his perpetual laziness was endearing.

What's your first memory of the clan?
I remember Questcaping being excited about having their story accepted into the 2017 Halloween event.

Coffee or tea?
I don't drink either very often, but I prefer tea, since coffee is way too bitter for my tastes.

Which is the most interesting God? Why?
I would say Seren is the most interesting (not necessarily the best) god. Her love for the beings around her is both her greatest strength and her greatest flaw; her attempts to save the elves and Mah have at times caused considerable harm, yet of all the current gods, Seren seems to be the most committed to Guthix's ideal of a peaceful Gielinor free from the control of gods. Speaking of Guthix, Seren seems to have had quite the relationship with him -- although, from the Hall of Memories dialogue, it seemed that the relationship was rather one-sided? And now that the Elder Gods threaten to consume Gielinor, she seems like the one who is the most capable of preventing the oncoming apocalypse.

Best thing of Clan Quest?
Obviously the community is the best part about Clan Quest! But just saying "the community" seems too vague, so I'll say that I like how willing members are to help other players; if a question is asked in the clan chat, you'll almost always see an actual answer instead of "just wiki it" or something similar.

THE ALEX 43 SECTION BECAUSE WHY NOT

Did you find it yet?
Uh, yeah.

Where was it?
Miles deep into the woods. I was lucky to find it as quick as I did -- any longer and the giant tarantulas would have come out at night.

Are you going to take good care of it this time?
I'm not touching it -- it was already starting to glow and vibrate by the time I got home.

Do you have a new place for it?
Yeah, I threw it down to the bottom of the lake in my backyard.

Is this place safe?
The water should hopefully insulate the region from its effects, but I've already started to notice the fish in the lake acting oddly.

Would it last a long time if it stayed there forgotten?
It will last for an eternity, unless it is destroyed. . Do you need help?
I'll need to dam the river nearby to ensure that the water doesn't seep out to the wider world.

Is this a good idea?
Definitely not.

Can you say that with confidence?
Definitely yes.

Is this how it's going to be?
If there was another way, then we would not have been forced to meet from the beginning.

BACK TO CHOTO

Why are you so obsessed with the Fremenniks?
I would hardly call it an obsession. :P But as to why I like the Fremenniks, I think it's quite interesting that V, the god-hero worshipped by all Fremenniks, was the one who indirectly caused the split between the mainland Fremennik and the Moon Clan, and was also the one who ended up resolving the conflict between them. Besides that, I just like how the Fremennik seem to have a knack for producing great heroes -- Cyrisus, V, and Bukalla all come to mind. And finally, there's just something cool about having a bunch of Vikings in RuneScape.

Best part of the whole Gielinorean lore?
I personally fascinated by the history of Morytania, especially the Seven Priestly Warriors. There's just so much to the region that it's hard for me to remember it all, but hopefully one day I'll go back and review everything that's happened there.

September 2019 011.png

Best music track from the Fremennik lands?
It's from a quest cutscene and not from exploring a particular area, but Ballad of the Basilisk is by far the best Fremennik song in the game. You really get the impression that you're listening to an actual Norse saga.

Why should people participate in the C.L.U.E openings?
More people opening caskets at the event increases the chance that a rare item is obtained. And besides that, everything is better with additional Clan Quest members also doing it, and opening clue caskets is no exception.

Who is the most interesting gnome and why did you just answer “Hazelmere”?
Hey you didn't give me a chance to answer. :< But yes, Hazelmere is the most interesting gnome because of how isolated he was -- he lived on an island away from the rest of the gnomes, he was the last speaker of Ancient Gnomish, and he would communicate via telepathy if others couldn't understand him. He's a lot like me, in that respect.

September 2019 012.png

If you could add a new quest series to the game, which one would it be and why?
I would add a quest series related to the Godless faction, since they have been criminally underrepresented in the ongoing conflict between the gods, having only played a major role in World Event 3. That, and also because we've already had enough of gods in recent quests, and it's about time someone showed them who's boss.

What is the meaning of life?
That's a question you can only figure out the answer to by yourself.

BACK TO CHOTO

Are you in da house or outside da house?
Cory in the House.

Tell me why you chose Roadsick and Lifelines as names for your account.
Roadsick is a song by the band More than a Thousand. It’s about being on tour, away from friends and family for long periods of time. I just really liked the song when I made the account. Lifelines is the name of an album and a song by the band I Prevail, which also happens to be the name of the account.

September 2019 021.jpg

Why is potatoskep better than graphicskep?
I got a comp cape before 120 slayer and didn’t want to grind 120 just to keep it. I felt like I did everything I wanted to, and the endgame content was starting to be more of a hassle than it should be to keep up. Potatoscape has a lot of fresh content while still having the old RS feel to it.

September 2019 022.png

If you could add a new faction/race to the game, which one would it be and why?
A faction that after seeing the differences of before and after the return of the gods to Gielinor thinks exterminating the gods would be the best for the survival of Gielinor. (this might exist I haven’t played in a while).

What was it like to be the founder and first Head of Council for the Old School guild?
I feel like most people reading this are just now learning about it as they read it, though not by any fault of theirs. I became inactive for IRL reasons about the time it got off its feet, and it was passed on. Although I wasn’t able to set precedents and really be able to nurture it in the early days, I think it was taken care of well by the ones that followed me, and I’m happy I was able to get it set up and running.

What is the meaning of life?
I feel like the meaning of life is how we as individuals contribute to the overall continuance of humans as a singular entity and species. This contribution can be a project that we dedicated our lives to, or just reproducing. How much each person contributes varies, but how vital this contribution is, is the same for everyone. Even the people who have seemingly tried to undo work, through warfare, or crimes against humanity have contributed due to systems put into place in order to prevent similar happenings taking place again in the future, where they could have an exponentially larger impact. The members of the group that find cures for cancer, for example, are just as important for their contribution of finally finding the cure, as the people who gave birth to them, and the endless chain of people that gave birth to them. In short, the meaning of life is how are you ensuring the continuity of life.

September 2019 029.jpg
Back in July, 3 members of Clan Quest took part on the very first clan's own Summercamp, hosted by Tyco in the Nordic Lands. Scroll down and read the testimonies of those who attended!

"The summercamp was great. The whole setting was beyond words (pictures don't do it justice), it was so peaceful. The view was spectacular, the house was a relic and almost everything in it was antique and full of character. Exploring the surrounding land took hours, and every few steps had something new to photograph. It had cliffs, a lake, wildlife, and the forest floor was a sea of blueberries. The craziest part was that it was pretty much untouched by humans.
Some of the highlights from my 2-3 days there:
-Tyco's "IRL dungeoneering" escape-room esque cellar. A series of ~10 pitch-black rooms, each with a puzzle or objective which you had to complete in order to progress from one to the next. Despite being exhausted from walking all day, it was an absolute blast and then I couldn't get to sleep that night from all the excitement. Took me around 90 mins to complete.
-Swimming in the sea in a private secluded cove by the boathouse. The water was very clear and not very salty, and the floor was sandy. Basically, the weather and the setting and everything else was perfect, but the water was rather chilly, so I didn't stay in there for long.
-Stockholm old town. I was shocked to discover that the heart of Stockholm is a sizeable, pristine, historic and well-preserved place. I'm surprised it hasn't been taken over by tourists. As someone with a keen interest in architecture, I thoroughly enjoyed walking around, even though my ankles didn't appreciate the cobbled streets. Lunch was great, and reasonably priced.
I got everything I could've wanted and more from this trip. I experienced the city, the history (at Skansen museum), the nature, and the food, but I also got a relaxing getaway. Big thanks to Tyco, he went above and beyond. I wish I'd stayed longer, and had time to take Tyco's boat to one of the uninhabited islands.".

Seb in Stockholm. Where's the snow?!

"Joining the Clan Quest Summer camp was my first trip to any Scandinavian country in the form of Sweden, combine that with meeting some clannies and it surely would be a worthwhile trip.
Traversing the dense jungle and rough sees surrounding the mansion I leveled up some skills I didn't even know I had. Almost getting shipwrecked during a heavy storm sure was an experience.
Add some nice weather(on some days) and a beautiful city and you got an amazing summer camp that is definitely worth repeating (Be it in Sweden or a different country)".

-Whiskey

Is he thinking...or posing? I hope he was thinking about me.

"The first Clan Quest Summercamp. As with any first-time events, there were lessons to be learned and events that neither of us had prepared for. For a while it was about to be canceled due to lack of participation (a fair number withdrew their interest close to the date) but when hearing Sebbage and Whiskey would come I didn't. A good event isn't determined by the numbers. It's determined by the spirit. And I'm glad I hosted it.
We explored the nature of the Nordic Lands, both on land and in the sea. We saw the military hold a parade. We had our adrenaline go sky-high in a science fiction shop, the true paradise for any nerd. I locked Sebbage and Whiskey in my cellar and had them go through horrifying (or maybe a walk in the park for Clan Questers?) challenges in order to escape. For those wondering, I didn't include the challenges in the video due to if I were to host this again, it's easier to re-use the challenges than to come up with an entire new concept.
I had fun during this summercamp and I'm very interested to host a new one next year. I will take the lessons I learned with me, for example we only ate half the food I had planned and there were some "dead time" between activities which I wish had planned some extra entertainment for. But I learned a lot about my own capital, I think I took the most photos out of us 3. After that week, I ended up as much as a tourist as them.
Enjoy the video. And if you want to come over for an awesome (and cheap) vacation at Stockholm in 2020, don't hesitate to announce your interest. In order to organize, I need to know YOU want to have the best I can give".

“Why Should I Care?” - The Importance of Immersion and Investment from Your Players

Once again, your players have breezed through another supposedly tough boss encounter. A tough mummy lord fight has been turned into a figurative walk in the park, your players are starting to get bored, and you’re one step away from dropping rocks on them and leaving. You had plans, yet the players have been smashing through your encounters within seconds. This is a common problem that can take a while for new DMs to wrap their heads around, and can be frustrating to players as well. Fortunately, this is a solvable problem, and it usually results from either of the following symptoms: Your encounter monsters are too weak, and you haven’t understood them properly yet, or (and the more likely case for newer DMs) you don’t understand a critically under explained and under discussed hidden “mechanic” within Dungeons and Dragons: Namely, the Action Economy. Simply put, the Action Economy (AE) is the calculation that determines how many actions any side in combat can take before the round is over.

Let’s take a closer look..

September 2019 024.jpg

The calculation in itself is quite simple. Every time a creature can perform an action in combat, it counts as one point in their favour for their side’s AE. First, you begin getting an estimate of the amounts of actions that your players can take. At higher levels, this can be difficult, so if you’re having difficulty getting a precise number, a rough estimate is fine. Following that, examine the encounter you wish to prepare. Calculate the amount of actions that the monsters/opposing forces can take. This all includes abilities such as multi-attacks (claw/claw/bite each count for one action), hasted actions, and extra attacks gained from martial class advancement.

Once finished, evaluate both parties, and make any adjustments to the DM controlled creatures as necessary. If you have less actions that the players, chances are that the fight will be unbalanced in their favour. If you have more, then chances are that players will either be beaten into the ground by unfair odds, or end up boredly checking their phones while they wait to take their turn that is currently drowning among a sea of endless pathetic enemies that they can’t seem to kill fast enough. Balance is the key.

If you keep finding that your major encounters are being destroyed in seconds by your players, then it’s time to play with AE. Once the players reach mid to high levels, all boss encounters should have legendary actions. These are special abilities that the boss can perform at any time during the round, with each one drawing from a pool of charges that regenerate at the beginning of the monster in question’s turn. For example, a Vampire can use one legendary action to freely move 30 feet in any direction without taking attacks of opportunity. Cleverly used, one strong enemy can have 4-5 actions per round. If legendary actions aren’t enough, you can also add minions to the field of battle. Minions give the players other targets to hit during the fight, as well as minor damage sources that the PCs must deal with. Low level clerics, mages, and archers support melee inclined bosses well, and low-level fighters, rogues, and barbarians support ranged focused bosses equally as adeptly.

Simply put, the action economy is something that the new DMs are never explicitly told about, and almost always learn about when someone else explains the concept to them. New DMs can often make the fatal mistake of boring their players via endless crappy monsters that they have to kill, or accidentally making the encounters too easy by letting them gang up on one monster with a limited moveset. Finding the proper balance between your players actions and your NPC actions will help create a more balanced, fun, and engaging combat encounter.

Eastshade

A few hours after landing in Lyndlow, I ventured off the obvious pathway towards my next quest objective and went for a wander through the woods in search of resources. After a short while of hopping about over rocks, Skyrim-style, and gathering mushrooms (for ink) and roots (for twine), I climbed over the crest of a hill and had to stop, surprised by how beautiful the view was. A giant tree in the middle of a lush wooded valley, flooded with sunlight and butterflies, a river bubbling up through its roots. In another game I would pause and take a screenshot, but here, I pulled a canvas out of my inventory, and painted it.

This is Eastshade, the debut game of indie developer Eastshade Studios, a.k.a. ex-AAA environment artist Danny Weinbaum. A five-year project involving a small collection of international collaborators, it’s a small-scale open-world RPG with several memorable features. You are an artist travelling through the island of Eastshade to fulfil the final wishes of a close family member. Along the way you meet various islanders and complete short quests for them, many of which involve painting specific creatures or vistas through a kind of screenshotting mechanic. There is no grand, over-arching story, instead focusing on the weaving of many smaller narratives together in the background.

September 2019 026.jpg

It’s a complete breath of fresh air, passively highlighting just how deeply the mechanics of death and violence are set into many RPG genres by avoiding them altogether. When starting out, I kept expecting to have to defend myself from something on the road; when night fell and my character began to feel the effects of the cold, I worried about dying and losing my inventory; but there’s none of that. Once overwhelmed by the cold I was reset back to the nearest homely inn, no loss suffered. Without the worry about survival, I found I could relax and take in the view.

This is lucky, because Eastshade’s real strength is in its environment, which is understandable, given the profession of the designer. Weinbaum has said his goal was to create a game with a strong sense of place, and I’d say he has succeeded. It’s at once familiar – when walking through some stretches of summer woodland, the soundscape and the light could have been directly taken from the woods near my home – and strange - giant trees, brightly coloured flowers and animals, elegant circular architecture. The music pulls far more than its fair share of weight, again familiar enough in its tone to blend into the background but unique enough to be sound like it came from a game with a far larger budget.

September 2019 027.jpg

There are some weaknesses. The voice acting, while excellent in places, is over-done in others, and the anthropomorphic character models used for NPCs are downright creepy. At the beginning you have to play for a while without access too a map, which can be frustrating. Similarly, the quests (while not difficult) give very little clues as to what you need to do to complete them.

But overall – it’s sweet, it’s gentle, an escape into a beautiful, peaceful world where you have nothing better to do than paint. And what a lovely change of pace that is.

Eastshade is available on steam here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/715560/Eastshade/

Welcome back, noobs! This month we’ve one nomination: Questcaping.

What a week it has been with the RuneScape Clan Cup! I would like to thank everybody who contributed, but I want to specifically call out Questcaping. In a clan where getting events off the ground is ever a challenge, Questcaping took it upon himself to rally people and get the event of the ground. While the result was a collaboration of many people, it wouldn't have happened if Questcaping hadn't planted the seed, so even if we don't end up winning, I think that counts as a Random Act of Win.

This nomination was seconded by Draziw, Choto, and Derparnieux. Even if there is only one nomination, the judges decide if it is valid and the candidates are fit for the award. Guess what:

Congratulations!
